If you're like me you've spent hours, maybe days or months trying to find how a newbie make money online and affiliate programs that work.

After failing with many online survey companies and submitting hundreds of entries to "online lotteries", I had almost come to the conclusion that in order to work from home via the internet with a decent income you have to be in IT or just have great "tech" skills.

Dishing out money to some of these "get rich quick" ideas is like buying copies of Adidas shoes from a vendor on the street. They smooth talk you with a great sales pitch and your new Adidas look perfect but after you try them out, you notice the quality isn't there and you've bought a pair of shoes with almost no value. It's no surprise newbies are giving up on trying to find ways to make money online after being so discouraged by scams and rip-offs.

While the internet is full of websites offering "data entry employment" or "make money filling out surveys", there are some that offer real value. Many people are now getting into Internet Marketing and promoting digital products and software along with many other items.

While Affiliate marketing has been very successful, you will likely find yourself wondering where to start or what products to sell? To achieve success at Affiliate marketing, you need to pick one idea or concept and devote yourself to it. Getting sidetracked half way through or giving up after a few attempts is the leading cause of failure with affiliate marketing.

When researching campaigns, many people feel they need to run many campaigns at the same time. This causes them to spread themselves too thin and often they will be too worn out to continue before seeing a profit. With the Internet full of fierce competition, it's advisable to focus on one niche market at a time than to be a "Jack of all trades"

If you are newbie seeking out trusted and proven Affiliate marketing websites, they are out there and you may just have to dig a little. You're best option is to find one that requires a membership as many of these free affiliate forums and websites are a magnet for spammers that prey on people looking to make a living via the internet. Personally, I registered to over 20 free sites before realizing that I had to dish out a little money for a quality membership to a quality website.

If you happen fall victim to a scam as many people do, take this experience and learn from it. The people that continue to apply themselves even after failure, ultimately succeed.
